What I got to thinking was maybe, since no matter what you buy in for, you're gonna be short stacked, maybe it makes sense to just buy in for the minimum (or around $60), wait for premium hands, put in a healthy bet pf, and then shove if you like the flop. But with so few chips to start, until you double (or triple, as the case may be) up, you're really on the wires. So, lots of callers, and when you hit a hand, you get paid for it. I bought in three times for $60 each, lost the first two, and turned the third into $420. Just played in a live casino game for the first time recently, and the trickiest part is how small the buy-ins are, specifically $40-$100 for the 1/3 game, leaving you with 13-33 big blinds.
